Death occurred for reasons not identified. The founder of Mebius Entertainment died at 52 years old.

The tragic message was shared by the workers of the studio in Yorkshire and his close friends.

Gordon began his career in the gaming industry by creating his own studio. So in 1997, Mebius Entertainment was opened in Yorkshire, specializing in the development of games for the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance handheld consoles. Having managed to produce several little-known games, in 2004, upon completion of work on the Max Payne GBA port, Rockstar bought the studio. As part of the "rock stars" Mobius was renamed the Rockstar Leeds.

Hall held a leadership position in the development of the spin-offs to parts of the GTA series. Gordon contributed to the first RDR, working on it as a manager at Rockstar San Diego.
