How to steal a fighter jet in GTA 5

Players were hoping that GTA 5 would have a mission where you’d have to steal a fighter jet, just like in San Andreas. However, the developers didn’t want to copy themselves. You can now steal the jet yourself outside of missions.

If you’ve decided to test your theft skills in GTA 5, do the following:

• Prepare. We recommend that you choose Trevor for this as he has a special ability that allows him to sustain much more damage. Also, find a fast car;
• Drive to the Fort Zankudo military base and rush through the gates;
• Find the runway. You should see a P-996 Lazer jet standing nearby;
• Don’t try to kill all the guards because it’s practically impossible to do;
• Make sure that there’s nothing on the runway that can prevent you from taking off;
• Toggle off landing gear once you’re in the air and try to escape the chase.

Important! Remember to manoeuver in the air to avoid getting hit by the missiles that are being shot at you.
