In this article we’ll show you how to play GTA 5 Online. When you launch the game, you’ll see the Online mode button in the bottom-right corner. However, the game will still load the storyline mode first and only then will you be able to enter the online mode. With that said, it’s probably easier to start a singleplayer game and enter multiplayer from there.

Do the following:

Once in singleplayer, pause the game.
Select Online and press Go.
You’ll enter the multiplayer mode in a couple of minutes.

You don’t have to sign up to Social Club, but it’s easy and it can be very useful in the game if you do. For example, you won’t be able to create your own crew without logging into Social Club. From time to time players also get bonus items and money from the developers if they’re members of the Social Club.

Where to start

You should start with making some money and buying a garage. Apartments and penthouses will wait for now. If you’re playing on console, you can also bind your account to Social Club and get access to Elegy RH8 in the beginning of the game.
