Rhapsody is a two-door compact automobile with the "hatchback" body style, manufactured at factories of the fictional, non-existing in the real world, American (as we can suppose) automobile company DeClasse.
The compact car DeClasse Rhapsody avoided it's appearance to the community of the Grand Theft Auto games series until the long-awaited fourth part, but to be more precise, until a release of the addon to GTA 4, named The Lost and Damned - that's where Rhapsody made it's debute. Then, the car came over to the fifth part, but, just like before, it didn't appear on the game's release. DeClasse Rhapsody was added to GTA 5 as a part of the "I am not a Hipster" update. Style-wise the car is totally dominated by a spirit of retrofuturism. One of the most distinctive features of the car is it's massive, wide glasses pretty much everywhere - the surroundings can be easily seen all over around.
Speaking of the car's technical characteristics, it is worth mentioning it's excellent brakes. There are not lots of compact cars in the game, but not all of them have such good brakes as DeClasse Rhapsody do. Also, the car has the best cohesion with the ground thanks to it's stiff suspension, which renders it one of the most well-controllable automobiles - it can do quiet sharp turns at high speeds without strong oversteers. One of the main cons of the car, which is an issue for most compact cars, is it's durability. The car's engine is very unlikely to withstand even a few frontal hits without getting on fire. You can buy this compact car on the well-known car retailer website www.southernsanandreassuperautos.com for $140000,
The prototypes of DeClasse Rhapsody are AMC Pacer and AMC Gremlin.
