There have been many Hollywood stars that took part in making GTA games, including Ray Liotta and Samuel L. Jackson. They did the voiceover for some of the main characters. We might hear and see even more famous actors in GTA 6.
Some GTA fan sites spread rumors about Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes being in the new game. They would absolutely nail their parts, but is it really necessary to involve such big stars in the development of the game?
The problem is that Hollywood celebrities are quite expensive. The money spent on famous actors would be much more useful if it went directly to the development, be it graphics, writing or anything else. Obviously, the main reason for game studios to hire big stars is to draw more attention to their project. With that said, there are many talented people and young actors that are willing to do a voiceover for a game and not ask millions for it.
