Rockstar won't show GTA 6
Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two Interactive has no plans to announce Grand Theft Auto VI until full the release of GTA Online on the Xbox Series X | S and PS5 consoles.

Last year, Take-Two Interactive released its annual financial roadmap, in which the company detailed what it plans to spend its money on. The report did not indicate the development of new projects, at least until 2023.

Rockstar Games should receive up to $ 100 million in investment next year. Such a large amount is usually allocated specifically for the development of AAA projects. The lack of a budget in 2021 is one of the reasons why you can't wait for official news about GTA 6 yet.

Reddit and Bloomberg again began publishing unconfirmed rumors, which are often simply deleted at the request of moderators. According to the latest assumptions, the plot of GTA 6 will unfold in the 60s and 70s, at least in two cities. One of them will be modeled after Vice City (Miami). The main character this time can be a woman associated with the Italian-Mexican drug mafia.

After the release of GTA 5 in 2013, GTA Online became the only development of the franchise; it will continue to receive events and new content until 2022. Rockstar Games has updated its 10 major divisions job list, requiring over 30 professionals. But the studio does not directly indicate what they all have to work with.

Rockstar's top priority in 2021 will remain the development of Red Dead Online and GTA Online. The latter will be adapted for the Xbox Series X | S and PS5 in the second half of the year. Until that moment, the main forces of the studio will not be distracted by new projects, avoiding crises and rework.
The developers of Grand Theft Auto have not yet confirmed a single rumor or presented any concepts for GTA 6, but they can tackle the trailer after the release of GTA Online on new consoles.
