How to complete the GTA 5 Online tutorial

When you start the game, you’ll see a bunch of notifications in the top left corner that will explain the GTA Online features:

1. Take part in Jobs and Races with your friends;
2. Challenge other players;
3. You can store cars in Garages that you can purchase around the Map;
4. Play tennis, golf and other games with other players;
5. As you play you will gain Reputation Points;
6. Press C to display your Rank.

Then you’ll see a cutscene where your character arrives in Los Santos. After the cutscene, enter the blue circle that indicates the «Mall Or Nothing» race. Choose a vehicle, a color and a winning toast and wait for the other players. Win the race by following blue arrows on the road. You’ll get RP and level up your Rank when you finish the race.

Now follow the yellow line on the map and head to the meeting. After a small shootout, you must collect the drugs and deliver them to Gerald’s house. Next, go to a clothes store and purchase something. Accept Lamar’s call and rob a grocery store. Respray your car and lose the cops. And that’s about it. You can also skip the tutorial if you want.
