How to change password in GTA 5

If you played GTA 5 for hundreds of hours, you probably wouldn’t want to lose your progress in both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. If your account doesn’t have a strong password, it’s time to change it so that no one could hack it and ruin your progress. However, some players find their Social Club account hard to navigate.

If you don’t know how to change your password in GTA 5, don’t panic and use this instruction instead:

Go to the Social Club website;
Click «Restore Password»;
Enter your e-mail address;
You’ll receive an e-mail with a link to change your password;
Сlick on the link and follow the procedure.

If you remember the password from your Social Club account, log in and go to the password settings. Here you can enter your old password and change it to the new one. You’ll have to confirm this operation via e-mail. And that’s about it, now you may not worry about losing your account. We also recommend to keep all your passwords written down somewhere so that you don’t forget them.
