Squalo is a high-speed sports-oriented motorboat, manufactured by a made-up in-game Japanese company Shitzu, which parodies another real (i.e. existing in real life) Japanese automobile corporations, such as Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki.
The boat Shitzu Squalo made it's first appearance in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, where it was the fastest, the most manoeuvrable boat in the game, and since then Squalo made it's appearance in each game of the series, with an exception for Gtand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. During time of it's existence Squalo came through a few metamorphosises, it's spoiler has been removed and added again, it's shape was altered, it's painting was changed a lot of times, even it's manufacturer company has been changed from Italian Grotti to Japanese Shitzu. That way, Shitzu Squalo in GTA 5 is shorter than previous models, and by it's appear it looks much more than it's brother from San Andreas, though it has much more "inflated", much more sleeker shape. The painting of the boat consists of dark red, white white at bottom and white lines at contours of the boat.
Shitzu Squalo is the third motorboat by speed in the game, falling behind to Shitzu Jetmax and Pegassi Speeder. The boat has the weight of three tons, which is for 1000 kilograms heavier than inflated Nagasaki Dinghy. However, Dinghy can steel outrun Squalo given circumstances necessary. Though Shitzu Squalo is not the best boat in the game, it is very hard to obtain it as the only place to find is near Del Perro Pier. You can buy Shitzu Squalo for a small amount of about $200000 on the site docktease.com.
Shitzu Squalo is modelled after real boat Chris-Craft Stinger 390X.
