Besra is a military trainer jet aircraft, engineered by a fictional, non-existing, in-game American company Western, which parodies such aircraft-manufacturing companies, as Sikorsky Aircraft, Bell Helicopter and Boeing.
Western Besra, just like any other military aircraft in the Grand Theft Auto series, is a collective image of a numerous other military planes (in this case, mostly trainer ones). Besra didn't make it's appearance in any other part of the GTA series, neither did trainer planes themselves at all. Rockstar made Besra caught an attention of GTA community when it released it to the GTA 5 as a part of the "Heists" update. In the vast expenses of Los Santos Western Besra can be met in different colour combinations of the same paint scheme. Mostly it is green and black or grey and yellow.
The plane Western Besra is showing excellent results by mostly any specification possible. It is speed is a bit behind of a speed of JuBuilt P-996 LAZER, however in the means of speed it is easily the honourable second among GTA 5 planes. As for the acceleration, it exceeds one of P-996 LAZER and is easily the first among aircrafts present in the game. Except for letting it to quickly recover speed after performing difficult aerobatic stunts, such acceleration also lets it to take off in a short time lapse.
