"Victory"-the Soviet passenger car, produced at the Gorky automobile plant in 1946-1958. Factory car index-Gaz-m-20. The first Soviet passenger car with self-supporting body and one of the first (first krupnoserijnyj) in the world is full of pontoon type (without protruding wings and their vestiges, the edges and headlights). For its time this body style was a new word in car design, particularly at the design stage of the car (1943-1946) and the first years of publication (which was introduced in 1948, the British Standard Vanguard, very reminiscent of the "Victory" was considered futuristic in appearance-as the name says, Vanguard = Vanguard) because most of the cars produced in Europe and America until the end of the 1940 's were upgraded pre-war models with separate amounts of wings.
