7 years since the date of the release of GTA Vice City Stories in Europe
7 years ago, on 3 November 2006, sales of GTA Vice City Stories began in Europe. The game was developed specifically for the PSP and its releas on other platforms took place several months later.
Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories was warmly welcomed by the critics of the game world - so, on the IGN game has score of 9 out of 10, on Gamespot - 8,4 of 10, and the critical acclaim on Metacritic is 86 points out of a possible 100, and among 50 reviews there is not a single one negative! Users on the Metacritic gave the game 7,9 out of 10.
Game sales weren't bad, at that European sales were even better than North American: 1,86 million sold copies of the game in Europe against 1.66 million in the U.S. and Canada.
Although GTA Vice City Stories on the PSP lost its popularity (as evidenced by at least the fact that the sales of the game in Europe for the entire year 2012 worse than on the first weekend after the release of the game), we are sure that among the admirers of series Grand Theft Auto a lot of people who enjoyed this game and now with a smile remember the time of playing Vice City Stories, and some probably still playing it.
